The service
SpecialityMCQ provides practice questions and study tools for UK royal college written exam revision.
Not medical advice
Content on SpecialityMCQ is for exam revision only. It must never be used for clinical decisions or patient care.
Independence
SpecialityMCQ is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Intercollegiate Committee for Basic Surgical Examinations, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, any of the surgical royal colleges, or any other exam authority.
Accounts
You need an account to use SpecialityMCQ, created with an email code or Google sign-in. Keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Free tier
The free tier currently includes 5 new questions a day. The review deck, streaks, and quests are free. Fair use applies.
Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings on the web, through the Stripe billing portal, or through Google Play on Android. Access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before checkout. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
You can also switch plan from the same place. Moving to a longer plan takes effect straight away: you are charged the new plan's price less credit for the time you have already paid for, and the new period starts that day. Moving to a shorter plan takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so nothing you have bought is lost.
Content
Questions and explanations are SpecialityMCQ's content, licensed to you for personal study only. No scraping, copying, redistribution, or resale.
Accuracy
Every published question is evidence based: its answer is checked against a named clinical guideline, college syllabus, or standard reference text, and it carries that source together with the date the source was last read. Questions are written and fact-checked with AI assistance against those sources; they are not individually signed off by a physician. Despite the checks, we cannot guarantee that content is error-free. The in-product report button is the fastest way to flag a correction. We do not guarantee exam results.
Liability
SpecialityMCQ is operated by Al Daim Digital Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number 17327688). The service is a revision aid supplied as is. As set out under Accuracy, questions and explanations are written and fact-checked with AI assistance and are not individually signed off by a physician, so you should confirm anything you rely on against the cited source or your own reading.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al Daim Digital Limited is not responsible for any loss arising from reliance on the content, including exam results, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Termination
Accounts abusing the service, including scraping, sharing accounts, or attacking the API, may be suspended.
Changes
These terms may change. Continued use after a change is acceptance. Material changes will be flagged in the product.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
